The main act
Not only does it cook in as little as just a few minutes in some cases, but this ingredient requires just a little prep and not much more than salt and black pepper to make it shine.
We love rubbing a little garlic, lemon, butter, and/or parmesan on raw stems and roasting for just 10-15 minutes.
Green pizza
Celebrate summer with a delicious asparagus pizza that is crispy, full of fresh flavour and amazingly satisfying.
It's simple - just follow your usual homemade pizza recipe and instead of all the usual toppings, go for freshly cut asparagus and baby spinach. It's a winning combination.
Summer soup
Shaved into a salad or roasted until crispy, asparagus tastes great. But perhaps the best way to enjoy the season's most iconic spears is puréed into soup.
There are so many recipes online but our favourite is asparagus soup with lemon and Parmesan cheese. It tastes rich, yet it’s made without heavy cream – just veggies, broth, and a bit of Parmesan cheese puréed to silky perfection.
