Make looking after your skin your New Year’s resolution
With a little inspiration from Choithrams.com you can replenish and revive even the dullest complexion. Options and choices can appear endless and the shelves are chock full of products for all skin types. Hang on to these three top tips for great skin, along with our top picks from the skincare range for the month ahead.
Rule #1
We can't stress this enough, make sure you always remove your make-up before hitting the sack. Your skin needs to breathe overnight and packed on make-up prevents that happening. as leaving it on overnight clogs the pores which may cause blemishes and/or blackheads. If you don't want to use make-up remover, just put some extra virgin olive oil on a cotton pad and gently massage and wipe.
Rule #2
Exfoliation is key. At least once or twice a week, exfoliate your skin to remove the layers of dead skin. This will leave you with a more healthy glow and brighter skin. Try a paste of walnut powder (you can even crush them yourself) mixed with yoghurt to exfoliate your skin. The antioxidants present in walnuts help remove dirt and promote radiant skin.
Rule #3
Never skip the sunscreen, even if you think it looks a little cloudy outside. If you're heading to the beach or pool, lather your skin up with some more sunscreen with SPF of at least 50, especially on your face.
