Challenges times have certainly made this year feel like one of the longest, which is perhaps why the spring school holidays have snuck up on us this month! Here's a quick round up of things to do if you have little people to entertain over the next two weeks.
Easter cookie decorating
Neighbourhood eatery Caya, located in Town Square Park, is hosting the ultimate cookie decoration class for kids. Encourage your kids to express their creativity by decorating pre-made Easter themed giant egg and bunny cookies. The 15-day spring break event runs from March 26 to April 10 and is geared towards kids aged 4-12 years old. Each class is priced Dhs55 per child and to ensure the safety of all attending, Caya has limited each class to eight people per session. Classes run from 10am-3pm and each class lasts between 30 and 45 minutes depending on the age of the children. Kids play areas will be sanitised between each session to adhere to all necessary health and safety protocols. Secure your spot by calling ahead on 04 564 6689.

Topgolf for kids
The Dubai-based innovative sports entertainment venue just launched two family-friendly games for kids of all ages – mini golf in The Bunker and Angry Birds.
Taking over the entire right-wing of the ground floor of Topgolf Dubai, The Bunker Mini Golf & Café challenges children and the young at heart to a fun nine-hole putt-putt experience. Each hole in The Bunker represents a popular sport in the UAE, from falconry and football to horse riding and cycling. Guests at The Bunker can enjoy a round of mini-golf in groups of up to six people, at only Dhs60 per round for your entire group. There's also a great selection of eats and drinks for people of all ages making it a great day out.
After a runaway success in the USA, Topgolf is now also bringing the popular interactive Angry Birds Game to Dubai, meaning you can now play Angry Birds in real life from Topgolf Dubai’s tee-line. The game, which uses Topgolf's Toptracer ball-tracing technology, is family-friendly and perfect for all ages and skill levels to enjoy. Just like the physics-based challenges in the Angry Birds mobile games, guests will use Angry Birds characters as golf balls to smash down structures, defeat pigs, and earn as many points and stars as possible. Once you hit your golf ball, which will be the Angry Birds character Red or Bomb, they will take flight in hopes of causing mayhem. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins!
