A big Aussie G'day is being extended as the Bushman’s Restaurant and Bar is making a welcome return to the city’s food scene this month.

The coronavirus pandemic forced the upscale Aussie eatery to shut the doors in March 2020, but is making a triumphant return tomorrow (Friday, February 12), showcasing a whole host of new bites.

However, make sure you come hungry as the portions are famous for being a rather healthy size! Get a taste of the outback when you take a seat in the inviting dining room, perfect for gathering the family together. Succulent cuts of prime meat and seafood are prepared on the Parilla Grill, infusing each dish with the essence of the outdoors, for that true Aussie feeling. The charcoal grill cooks each piece to perfection, so you can relish the succulence of the signature dishes.

Choose your favourite from Angus or Wagyu and add some sumptuous sides, such as grilled asparagus or truffle fries. Take in the Dubai skyline views from the sunny outdoor terrace or simply soak up the atmosphere of a comfy and welcoming interior.

New hours and offers

Bushman’s Bar and Restaurant will reopen on Friday, February 12 from 6pm. Opening hours will be Tuesday – Sunday from 5pm – 11pm. Happy hour will take place from 5pm – 7pm daily giving you the chance to enjoy the sunset over the water with drink before dinner.

No Worries it’s Wednesday offers customers three drinks for just Dhs100 so it’s a great reason to drop by and get to know the team again. Challenge a mate to a game of foosball or billiards for some old-fashioned fun. Add an Australian cold cut platter, with dried Wagyu and smoked kangaroo or order some grilled skewers to make it a real outback evening.

Safe and healthy

As with all the restaurants at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, there are strict rules and regulations in place, in line with the health and safety measures set by the Dubai Health Authority, so guests can dine with peace of mind. Floor markings are in place for social distancing and hand sanitisers are available throughout the premises. The kitchens are fully cleaned, and all our teams are trained in the new standards for hygiene and cleanliness. All of our staff wear masks, and you are requested to keep your mask on until you take your seat to dine.
