Break the norm

This Ramadan, break bread at Jones the Grocer, Emirates Golf Club, with an unconventional yet casually creative Iftar menu exclusively available to dine in at the legendary golfing destination. Engage in a selection of highlights from across the Mediterranean and Middle East, each featuring the Jones signature flair and flavour, and experience the breaking of fast with a simple yet wholesome set menu of dishes synonymous with the UAE’s favourite Australian eatery.

Take in views of the rolling greens of the iconic golf course, as dates are offered to begin as well as a choice of either a classic spicy lentil soup with fresh parsley and lemon or a saffron pearl couscous and chargrilled broccolini with Greek feta, roasted aubergine, sun-dried tomatoes, mixed leaves and roasted pumpkin seeds tossed in honey balsamic. Fish fans will be happy about a sea bass main; a delectable, pan-fried fish on soba noodles, bok choy, pickled red radish, chili, nori, cashews and yuzu ponzu dressing. Vegetarians are also covered with the garlic and chilli linguini, showcasing a smooth tomato reduction, basil and shaved Parmesan on top. Carnivores can add a little kick to their iftar with the chargrilled harissa chicken; a spicy combination of tender chicken, North African couscous salad and a creamy red pepper may emulsion. For those who are a fan of all three, the hardest part will be deciding what to choose.
