Shampoo and conditioner
When choosing a shampoo and conditioner it is crucial that you understand your hair type. For example, if you would like to know if your hair is oily, it is best to determine this by checking how oily your roots are the morning after washing your hair. If they are oily, you can use a good quality dry shampoo on your roots to quickly refresh and revitalise your hair rather than wash it every day which can dry out the longer parts of your hair. For those with dry hair, I always recommend that you use shampoos and conditioners that contain ultra-conditioning ingredients such as keratin and camelina oil to give you smooth, shiny, and protected locks. For Fine Hair, I’d suggest Looking out for formulas that contain moringa seed, artichoke leaf, and golden root which will help to protect the hair against environmental damage. Finally, for those with Colour Treated Hair, I’d recommend that you use a colour-preserving shampoo that contains sulfate and has a paraben-free formulas in order to prevent fading, protect against discoloration, and retain the necessary moisture that your hair needs.
Brushes
The brush that you choose to use on your hair really does make a difference! I’d recommend using a shampoo comb, which not only helps to make sure that the build-up of shampoo and other dirt that affects the hair’s health is removed, but also helps to strengthen the roots and distributes the natural moisture and oils that are on the scalp throughout your hair. Use the brush to work your shampoo and conditioner into your scalp and then over your hair evenly.

Treatments
The one product that Michaela finds herself recommending over and over again is Olaplex. Olaplex is formulated to protect hair from chemical damage, and Michaela finds that this product helps to keep her client’s hair in optimum condition, especially considering that they can do this treatment at home by themselves.
